Hearing test and tuning for the OpenEar device
You're looking at a simulated device, so every screen works before the board arrives. Press Connect to pair with a real OpenEar (Chrome on Android, Windows or Mac).
Sit somewhere quiet with the earphone in. OpenEar plays short beeps at six pitches. Tap "Heard it" whenever you hear one, even faintly. It takes about five minutes.

Half-gain rule: about half of each hearing loss is added back, with gentle compression. This is a starting point for experiments, not a clinical prescription.
Changes play live. Band gain stops at +30 dB and the output ceiling at −3 dBFS inside the firmware, whatever this page sends.
Bar: sound reaching each band (−90 to 0 dBFS). Red line: gain OpenEar is applying right now (−10 to +30 dB).
Same commands as the USB serial console. Try help, stat, show.
